Personal Information

Let's start with some basic information about you.

We'll send your login credentials here
Please provide your Mobile Number in case we need to contact you.
Just type your birthday (numbers only) and we'll format it for you. Example: type "30081986" and it becomes "30/08/1986". You must be 18 years old or older.

Location & Emergency Contact

Help us understand where you're based and who to contact in an emergency.

As our club is based in Weybridge, we want to ensure that your location is within a reasonable distance to make joining our rides practical for you. Please enter the closest town or city to where you live.
Providing an emergency contact name is optional, but as per British Cycling guidance, we encourage members to share this information in case of an emergency during a club ride.
Providing an emergency contact number is optional, but as per British Cycling guidance, we encourage members to share this information in case of an emergency during a club ride.

Your Cycling Experience

Tell us about your cycling background so we can match you with the right group.

As a road cycling club, we require all members to ride a road bike that is in good working condition. This ensures the safety of both you and the group during our rides. Please confirm that your road bike is fully maintained and ready for club rides.
Based on our Group Pace Structure, please select the group that aligns with your ideal and most comfortable riding pace. We recommend choosing a group where you feel confident and can enjoy the ride, as you can always progress to a faster group over time.
Please enter the longest distance you have cycled in a single ride within the last 12 months (numbers only). This helps us assess your endurance and suggest the most suitable group for your demo ride.
On a scale from 1 to 10, rate your current cycling fitness level: 1 – Just Starting: You're new to cycling or returning after a long break. 10 – Excellent Fitness: You ride regularly, have strong endurance, and can handle long or intense rides. This helps us place you in the right group for the best experience.

Preferences & How You Found Us

Help us connect you with the cycling community.

We use Strava to organise and manage all our club rides. If you don't have one, we recommend signing up for a free Strava account to stay connected with our club rides.
If you are a British Cycling member, you can select Surrey Cycling Club as your primary club, which may provide you with additional benefits, including extra protection and third-party liability insurance while riding with us.
We'd love to keep you updated with club announcements, upcoming rides, special events, and exclusive member discounts. We respect your inbox and do not send spam, just the essential updates to keep you in the loop!
Let us know where you first heard about us! Whether it was through a friend, social media, Strava, an event, or another source, your response helps us understand how cyclists find our club. If you joined because of a friend's recommendation, please enter their name so we can give them kudos!
If you use Zwift, we can send you an invite to our Surrey Cycling Club Zwift community, where you can connect with fellow members, join virtual group rides, and train together in a fun and interactive way. Let us know if you'd like to be part of it!
